Capri  Masgaba  archaeological heritage  preservation  enhancement 

The five-year research project "Masgaba, carried out with the scientific direction of the Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the metropolitan area of Naples, the funding and support of the municipalities of Capri and Anacapri, and the collaboration with the Apragopolis association and the CNR in Rome, aims to recover all the information useful for reconstructing and assessing the island's territory and ancient landscape with the intention of developing synergies useful for the preservation and enjoyment of its archaeological heritage. Within such a rich and complex archaeological landscape, the project is focusing on sites already known from literature and previous reconnaissance and on new evidence that is emerging in the course of research.
